Now for some sports!
The Boys Basketball team has a game TONIGHT at the Giant Center, and they will play for the District Championship!!! Tip-off is at 8:30pm against Mechanicsburg. All Tickets will be sold at the door, and they are all $6!! Come out and watch our bobcats in the championship game!! If you are in need of transportation to the game, The Northeastern Athletic Department is offering a Fan Bus for students and community members that want a ride!! There is NO cost to ride the bus, but riders must bring money to buy their ticket at the game. Interested students and community members MUST register to ride the bus at the 9th grade office by TODAY at 3pm. The bus will leave from the front of the Middle School at 6:30pm. If you’re interested, make sure you sign up BY 3!!!
**For any girl interested in playing softball, please sign up in the 9th grade office. We are looking for new players as well as managers for this years team. Still sign up even if you’ve been attending open gyms. Tryouts will start next week! They will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5-7 in the 9th grade gym due to bad weather. It will also be a closed practice, which means no parents.
***Anyone interested in playing baseball this spring, there will be an informational meeting TODAY, after school, at 2:45pm in the 9th grade cafeteria. You must contact Coach Srebroski if you cannot attend the meeting, and if you don’t know how to contact Coach Srebroski, just try to find a baseball player in the school!!
***Good luck to our swimmers that will be competing this weekend at the District 3 Swimming Championships at Cumberland Valley High School. Drew Wilson will be competing tonight in the 200 freestyle as the top seed in District 3. Drew, Katie Mummert, and Lauren Mummert will all be competing in the 500 freestyle tomorrow. For TODAY's Lunch we will be having Boneless Wings with a dinner roll! Sandwich of the day is Buffalo Chicken Wrap or a Tuna Melt!! And there will be a variety of pizza in the pizza line!
For MONDAY’s breakfast we’re having a Sausage or Ham & Cheese Omelet!!
And MONDAY’s lunch will be Chicken Nuggets with Buttered Noodles!! Sandwich of the Day is Chopped Steak or Turkey Club Wrap!! And there will be Garlic French Bread Pizza in the Pizza line!!
