Yesterday there was a softball game against Central and our girls won with a final score of 9-5.
Nice job ladies!
The Bobcat Tennis Team picked up their fourth win out of five matches with a 5-0 shutout over Red Land yesterday.
A good singles win was put together by number one Josh Sanderson with a 6-2; 6-2 score.
Second singles, Lance Fries came out on top of his opponent 6-2; 6-2 in a solid match.
Lance and Josh also teamed for a 6-0 doubles win after their singles.
Tony Damian hit a variety of shots against a good opponent 6-4; 6-2 at third singles.
The doubles team of Ryan McElwain and Haydne Golden gave up only one game as they won 6-1; 6-0.
Sam Sidle and Erick Sowers also had a strong showing in their doubles match as they came out on top, 6-2; 6-1.
Several other team members picked up wins as well. Matt Murry, Trenton Clouser, Carter Crebs, Seth Sidle, Sam Gatchell, Josh Taylor, Joe Weihbrecht, Daniel Mohney, Evan Gibbs and Brandon Shirk all played very well with solid wins.
The team will take on a good Suburban team today on the Bobcat courts. Come out and watch the fireworks of what will be a very exciting match!
There is also a track meet today against Spring Grove here at 3:30.
The boys volleyball team play as well tonight against West York away at 7.
