Report by Damon Faulkner: National Art Honor Society is a club for motivated, creative and well rounded students. The club works on many interesting and amazing pieces of artwork throughout the year. As of now, the National Art Honor Society is working hard on a Spring Grove Rocket to be used during the homecoming bonfire. Along with homecoming, the Society is making a float for the homecoming Parade. Some of their students have already entered in competitions in the York fair and are developing designs for the safe driving campaign. In the past the Art Honor Society has be enthusiastic to help the musical with their scenery, they have entered in competitions like the national art competition. The club also takes fields trips! In the year of 2015-2016 they traveled to art museums in New York city . With a total of fifty three members, they are always looking for more members. People interested in joining the club can contact Ms. Schedin in the Art Wing for more information. With the addition of the schoology, the National Art Honor Society now lives as a virtual club. With that movement online, it allows flexibility for busy students to still stay actively involved. Through as of now, the club can not be considered a national society due to the lack of four officers. But with the installment of the President, Vice, Treasurer and Secretary. The club will back on track to the its national standings.
