Last night there was a swim meet at Spring Grove and the girls scored 91 to 94. The boys scored 75 to 108. Stephen Barlett, Madison Taylor, Abby O’Leary, and Megan Heist all broke pool records last night during the meet. Nice job! Tonight there is a boys basketball game against William Penn here at home. The girls basketball team also has a game tonight. They will face Dover. Over the weekend, there is a diving meet tomorrow against Red Land. As well as a girls basketball game against Central. Last night the girl’s basketball team played West York and the girls fought hard but unfortunately lost 43 to 47. The boy’s basketball team also had a game last night. They faced Spring Grove and unfortunately lost 52 to 58. Tonight the only thing on the schedule is a wrestling match against Kennard-Dale here at home. Baseball Open Gym are being held on Mondays and Wednesdays 7pm-9pm in the 9th grade gym. Anyone interested in trying out for the baseball team this spring is encouraged to attend these open gyms. Tonight the only thing on the schedule is a boys basketball game against Central here at home. The Aquatic Fitness classes have once again completed their Cooper 12 minute swim assessments.The class swam their first attempt at the start of the 2nd marking period and completed their second attempt yesterday. Results for period ½ saw Angelina Sandridge swim the most laps with 67, followed by Alyssa Shank with 54 which was a monster 19 lap improvement over her first attempt. Lee Stahl was third with 40 laps. Ty Stauffer swam the most laps for the boys with 47, an impressive 10 lap improvement over his first attempt. Ty was followed closely by Abbott Rosier who swam 45 laps and Jordan Brauer who completed 35 in the 12 minutes. Ceasar Arroyo was the most improved male, swimming 11 more laps than his first attempt. For period 3’s 2nd attempt, Pearl Hunter led with 65 laps and a terrific 9 lap improvement. Sophia Kirouac was second with 54 laps and a stellar 11 lap improvement. Meara Allen fought hard for 43 laps. Tyler Kepner swam a strong 46 laps to top the boys with Ryan Hussey close behind with 39 and Parker Knappenberger’s awesome 7 lap improvement to finish with 37 laps. Bravo to all swimmers who attempted this very physically challenging assessment. Good Morning Northeastern!

On Friday, the boys basketball team faced Red Lion and Northeastern won 52-48 Tonight the the girls basketball team faces York Suburban at 7:30. The boys basketball team also has a game tonight and they play Dallastown. Good luck both teams. Good Morning Northeastern!
Yesterday there was a swim meet against Red Lion and the boys team won 102-72. The girls also won 97-83. There was also a wrestling match against Eastern and we unfortunately lost 24-54 The girls basketball team played as well last night against Annville Cleona. They won 52-39. Tonight there is a boys basketball game against Red Lion. There is also a girls basketball game against Eastern. Good luck to both of the basketball teams. Good Morning Northeastern!
Tonight there is a swim meet against Red Lion at 6. There is also going to be a wrestling match against Eastern York at 7. The girls basketball team also play tonight against Annville-Cleona at 7:30 Attention basketball fans: make sure you get your NE Cat Den shirts. They will be sold in the lobby tomorrow morning and you can also see Wade Wolfgang. The shirts cost $15 so make sure to get one before it’s too late. The theme of this Friday’s game is going to be the Cat Den Shirts. Anyone interested in playing softball this year is encouraged to attend the open gyms. Off season football workouts will be today at 3:00. Any students (who are currently NOT in a SCHOOL winter sport) interested in playing football next season should attend. Off season workouts will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00-4:15 p.m. |
