Good Morning Northeastern!
The softball game got rescheduled to Wednesday 5/13 There was also a boys volleyball game against Red Lion and the bobcats triumphed over the Lions with a final set score of 3-0. There are no sports on the schedule tonight. Good Morning Northeastern!
On Friday there was a baseball game against Greencastle-Antrim and There was also a track meet against Dallastown and many of our athletes placed well. Josh Sanderson and Lance Fries played district doubles on Friday and the duo played against a very strong Central Dauphin team but lost 1-6, 0-6 Good season to the tennis team as they had the best record Northeastern's Tennis Team ever seen, and nice job to both the baseball and track team as well. Tonight there is a softball game at Red Lion at 4:15. There is also a boys volleyball game against Red Lion here at 6. Good luck to both teams. Good Morning Northeastern!
The Tennis Team's run ended against a very good Cedar Crest team as all the Bobcats battled hard but lost this final match. The Bobcat's ended up fourth out of 44 teams in District 3, an incredible accomplishment! Their dual meet record was 14 and 1 and overall ended up with 15 and 3 in the final standings. Yesterday the softball team played Dallastown and our girls lost 7-8 in a very close game. The baseball team faced the bulldogs as well and had a tough loss against a very good dallastown team with a final score of 0-11. Tonight the boys tennis team has another match against a team from Cedar Crest at the Hershey Racket Club. Whoever wins this game will qualify for the state tournament. Yesterday there was a softball game against Lampeter Strasburg our girls lost 11-5. There was also a boys volleyball game against Central and our bobcats beat the Panthers with a set score of 3-1. The Bobcat Tennis team battled hard against Hershey, the second ranked team in District 3 and picked up only their second loss of the season in the last seven weeks. Ironically, the team's only other loss was to Dallastown, the number one team in the Districts seven weeks ago. Northeastern will take on another solid team from Cedar Crest tomorrow at the Hershey Racket Club and the winner will qualify for the State Tournament. The entire team is looking forward to this match and, as always, will do their best! Tonight both the softball and baseball games are away facing Dallastown at 4:15. Yesterday the softball game was postponed until Friday, the 10th. The baseball team played against Red Lion yesterday, and lost 06-10. The Bobcat Tennis team played extremely well as they defeated a very good York Suburban team yesterday by a 3 to 1 margin at Racket Club West in Lancaster. Josh Sanderson played an excellent match against a very good opponent but came out on the short end. Second singles, Lance Fries continues to win matches as hammered his way to a 6-1; 6-0 triumph. Tony Damian lost his first set but was on the verge of evening his second when the Bobcats picked up the clinching third point that stopped the overall competition. The first doubles team of the cobra brothers, Ryan McElwain and Haydne Golden lived up to their reputation as they totally dominated their opponents, 6-1; 6-0. Sam Sidle and Erick Sowers clinched the third and final point with an 0-6; 6-3; 6-1 win as they settled down and played a strong second and third set. Overall, the team did a good job in winning their first District match ever and will face a good Hershey team today at Racket Club West. Tonight the softball team has a game here at 4:15 against Lampeter Strasburg. The boys volleyball team also plays tonight. They have a game away at Central at 7. The Softball Game was unfortunately cancelled on Friday The Track Team had an invitational on Friday and our girls 4x4 relay won 1st., and Jessica Staley won 1st in the 100 Meter Today there is a softball game away at Red Lion at 4:15. There is also a baseball game away at Red Lion at 4:15. The boys tennis team are also playing today. They will face Suburban in team districts. Good luck bobcats. Good Morning Northeastern!
Yesterday the boys volleyball team had there senior night and defeated dover with a score of 3--0. Tonight there is a track tournament at Eastern. There is also a softball game away against Shippensburg at 4:15. The baseball team plays Mechanicsburg here at 4:15 as well tonight. Good luck Bobcats. Good Morning Northeastern!
Yesterday softball had their senior night and crushed the mustangs 10-1 There was also a baseball game against Southwestern and the bobcats won in the 10th inning 2-1 Tonight there is a boys volleyball game against Dover here at 7. Good luck boys. |
