A lot went on yesterday, so let’s get to those games.
The Lady Bobcat Tennis Team battled hard against a very good Central Team and came out on the short end with a 4-1 loss.
Courtney Hoff continued to win as she came out on top of a strong opponent with a 6-4; 7-5 win.
Other outstanding efforts were put in by all the team members especially in close losses by the double's tandems of Brynn MacDonald, Lindsey Myers, Mansi Patel and Kiara Cornish.
The team will take on another strong opponent this Monday when they host current second place New Oxford on the Bobcat courts.
The team appreciated all the support they received on senior night with parents and fans along with Mr. Gay who gave the senior players a wonderful send off.
Boys’ soccer was away to take on Spring Grove and fought hard, but took a loss with a final score of 0-2 while girls’ soccer was at home facing Spring Grove and gave them a beating while finishing with a score of 6-0. Finally girls’ volleyball battled Kennard-Dale and played 4 games, 25-20, 26-24, 18-25, 25-22 with a finishing score of Kennard-Dale winning 3-1.
We have many games set for today and for tomorrow that should be entertaining, let’s check those out. Today, field hockey will take on South Western away. Tomorrow, boys’ soccer will be away to clash against Governor Mifflin and girls’ soccer will also be away to take on Biglerville except they will be up early at 10:00am to play their game. Also at 10:00am, field hockey has a big day as they take on a couple teams in their home tournament. And of course we can’t forget to mention tonight’s home football game against Central York at 7:00. Again, a huge thanks to everyone that came out this morning for Friday Morning Lights with ABC27. We had an awesome turnout, which was the biggest turnout of any school ABC27 has had so far this season.
*Fox43 will be covering our game tonight and will be doing live segments before and after the game so look out for the Fox43 crew, and show them some Bobcat love
