Yesterday Field Hockey battled Susquehannock at home and sadly took a loss to them.
*The Lady Bobcat tennis team had a hard fought match against a very good Susquehannock team and, when the dust settled, came up short with a 3-2 loss.
Several of the team members had an outstanding day as they played extremely well.
Courtnee Hoff hung tough for two and a half hours as she won her singles match with a 6-0; 3-6; 6-4 score.
The Bobcat's second point came from the undefeated doubles team of Brynn MacDonald and Lindsey Myers who also played for over two and a half hours, came back for a set down to win the final two sets 6-3; 6-4.
Additional wins were posted by Kiara Cornish, Kirsten Harrison, Isha Patel, Madison Laughman, Jillian Laughman, Allie Holler, Alyssa Harrison and Aubrey Shaffer.
Overall, the team played extremely well and have shown incredible improvement since their first match.
The Lady tennis team will take on a good team today when they play York Catholic at Springettsbury Park at 4:00
*Also on the schedule for today: boys’ soccer will be competing against New Oxford at home at 7:30pm while *girls’ soccer will be away at New Oxford, taking them on at 4:00pm. *Finally, girls’ volleyball will be away to take on Gettysburg at 6:30pm.
