Good Morning Northeastern!
We’re back in action with this week in sports! Let’s start off with the NBA this week! On Monday, The Bulls had a surprising blowout win over the Celtics with a score of 108-85. The following day on Tuesday, The Sixers had a big overtime win over the Timberwolves led by Joel Embiid’s 28 points with a score of 118-112. Wednesday was highlighted with a game between the Hornets and Rockets that resulted in the Rockets winning 108-96 led by Chris Pauls 31 point game. Last night, The Cavaliers and Lakers battled with the Cavaliers coming out on top 121-112.
There is no college football playoff news this week as the games of Clemson vs Alabama and Oklahoma vs Georgia will not be played until January 1st. There will be A LOT of Bowl games through this weekend on Saturday so watch out for those!
Now let's take it over to the NFL! On Monday, the Dolphins surprised the Patriots with a 27-20 win led by Jay Cutler’s 3 touchdown game. Last night, the Broncos and Colts went into war and the Broncos came out on top with a score of 25-13. We have some surprise Saturday games this weekend between the Bears and Lions at 4:30 and the Chargers and Chiefs at 8:25 so watch out for those! This Sunday will be spotlighted by the AFC matchup between the Steelers and Patriots at 4:25 PM which should be an insane game! Also the matchup at 4:05 PM between the NFC West opponents Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams should be a nail biter.
Now for our school sports announcements!
