There was a boys volleyball game on Friday against East Pennsbury and the boys won 2-0. Nice work to both teams!
The Bobcat Tennis Team had a good 5-0 win over Biglerville this past Friday. Solid wins were posted by Josh Sanderson and Tony Damian in singles in straight sets.
The doubles teams of Haydne Golden, Ryan McElwain, Sam Sidle and Erick Sowers also cruised without dropping a set.
Additional wins were recorded by Matt Murry, Evan Gibbs, Seth Sidle, Trenton Clouser, Carter Crebs, Sam Gatchell, Brandon Shirk and Ethan Godchell.
The match of the the day though, belonged to Lance Fries. After losing the first set, 6-0, he put on an incredible effort and rallied to win the second set, 7-5. That brought on the third and final set that Lance solidly won, 6-1. This was one of the greatest comebacks ever in Bobcat tennis and the word quit is not part of Lance's or this team's vocabulary!
The team travels to Red Land today for a match before hosting Suburban on the Cats courts tomorrow around 3:45 PM. If you want to see some great, competitive tennis, come out to this match on Tuesday. It is going to be a good one with plenty of fireworks!
There is also a softball game against Central here at home at 4:15.
The baseball team play Central as well today here at 4:15.
Good luck to all the teams playing tonight.
