Good Morning Northeastern!
We have a lot of sports to catch up on!!
On Wednesday night, the girls basketball team played Cocalico here at home, but they didn't come out with the win.
Friday night the girls basketball team had a home game against West York and they lost in a close game.
Also on Friday night, the boys basketball team had an away game against Spring Grove! The guys blew them out of the gym with a 78 to 28 score!! Also, shout out to Antonio Rizzuto for scoring his 1,000th point Friday night! Congratulations!!
On Saturday, the wrestling team had a match at Biglerville to the Canner Duals. The varsity boys finished 2-3 on a day of intense match-ups!
Also on Saturday, some swimmers and divers competed in an Invitational meet at Southwestern. Congratulations to all the swimmers and divers who placed!
The basketball teams were back at it on Saturday as well. Both teams played Greencastle Antrim.
The girls were here at home and unfortunately lost, but the guys won their away game!!
This evening the girls play away at Bermudian Springs at 7:30. Good luck and play hard!
While the girls are away, the boys basketball team is home tonight vs Cocalico. Keep up your winning streak guys!! .
Don’t forget, Due to the demand for Northeastern Varsity Boys Basketball Tickets, the Northeastern Athletic Department is requiring ALL Northeastern Season / Year Athletic Pass Holders to pick up a ticket prior to each home game for the remainder of the season!
For non-pass holders, The Northeastern Athletic Department will be pre-selling tickets for Wednesday January 10th Boys Basketball game vs York High. Tickets will go on sale today and tomorrow from 3pm-6pm at the 9th grade office. Ticket buyers will be limited to 2 tickets per visit. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Thanks for supporting bobcat basketball!!
