The Northeastern Boys Volleyball team will play in the PIAA 2A State Semifinals tomorrow at 7pm at Cumberland Valley High School. The Bobcats will face Palmyra. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets will be sold at the door. Doors open at 6pm.
Attention all softball players please turn in your uniforms to the athletic office by Thursday.
The Aquatic Fitness classes have completed their Cooper 12 minute swim assessment for the second time and have demonstrated definite “I Think I Can” efforts. Period ½ was lead by Alan Tatlas’ 62 widths of the pool, followed by Colin Millis’ 35 widths for the boys. The girls were lead by Kayla Daker’s 53 width effort followed by Marlasha Thomas’ 47 widths. Leading the most improved in the class was Tony Galletti who swam 12 additional widths when compared to the beginning of the marking period, followed by super efforts by Aidan Seibel and Adam Grimmie who each improved by 9 widths. Meg Sweitzer lead the girls in improvements with 5 additional widths. Period 3 lead the marking period with Ronni Wolfgang swimming the most widths of the marking period with 61. Abby O’Leary was second with her total of 42. The girls’ most improved was a tremendous effort by Lauren Anthony who stepped it up 10 widths from her previous effort.The boys were lead by Sam Gatchell’s high of 43 followed closely by 40 widths swum by Joey Weihbrecht and Bryce Gotwalt. The most improved boy swimmer was Will Hudgins who powered his way to 10 additional widths of the pool in the 12 minute time period. Mrs. K and Mr. Schaeberle would like to applaud all swimmers who completed this challenging fitness test!
