Good Morning Northeastern!
Several of the Bobcat tennis team members participated in a USTA team event on the Northeastern courts yesterday and the Cats came away with two big wins over teams from Carlisle and Red Land.
Every Bobcat team member had the chance to not only play but also picked up solid wins.
With the boy's and girl's singles, doubles and mixed doubles format, our guys and ladies get a great opportunity to play together and it made for some very exciting tennis!
Winning in singles, doubles and, or, mixed doubles were Josh Sanderson, Jillian Laughman, Erick Sowers, Jiselle Castano, Trenton Clouser, Taylor Forry and Carter Crebs. The event was competitive and a lot of fun for the Bobcat players and they are looking forward to the next one in two weeks.
The Northeastern Boys Volleyball Team will host Susquehannock today at 7:30pm in the District III Volleyball Tournament. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Northeastern will also host York Suburban vs Lancaster Mennonite at 6pm. Doors open at 5pm. Come out tonight for some great volleyball games!
The Northeastern Softball team will play away against Daniel Boone High School on tomorrow at 4:30pm in the M&T Bank District III Softball Tournament. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and they will be sold at the game site. Come out and support!
