Yesterday, the softball team faced York Suburban and they destroyed the trojans 10-0 ending the game with a mercy rule.
The Bobcat took down a team they had never beaten before with a 5-0 victory over a strong Red Lion team and ran their record to 11 and 1.
Josh Sanderson had an incredibly solid match along with a 6-2; 6-2 win over a very good Red Lion opponent at first singles.
Number two singles, Lance Fries had a competitive straight set win as he came out on top 6-4; 6-4.
The longest match of the evening was Tony Damian's as his first set alone went almost two hours as he prevailed 7-6 (7-5); 6-3 in a marathon event.
The first doubles team of Haydyn Golden and Ryan McElwain battled hard, won the first set 6-3, went down 0-4 in the second set before storming back to win 6-4.
Sam Sidle and Erick Sowers continue to play extremely well as they were also pushed hard by the Lions and came out on top 6-4; 7-6 (7-5) in their match.
Additional wins were put up by Seth Sidle, Evan Gibbs, Trenton Clouser, Carter Crebs, Joe Weihbrecht, Daniel Mohney, Josh Taylor, Sam Gatchell, Matt Murry, Blake Lemelman and Holt Dallam.
Overall, it was a monster win for the Bobcats with their first time win against a team that shutout our group of seniors when they were freshmen.
The team will be involved in another big match on the Bobcats courts today against New Oxford at 4:00..
Tonight the baseball team plays York Suburban here at 4:15.
There is a track meet at Dallastown at 6.
There is also a boys volleyball game against Spring Grove here at 7.
