Good Morning Northeastern!
The Bobcat Tennis Team put together a good showing with a 5-0 win over Spring Grove last Thursday as many of the tennis team members recorded wins.
First singles Courtnee Hoff shutout her opponent with a 6-0; 6-0 score.
Jillian Laughman also shutout her opponent with a 6-0; 6-0 victory.
Third singles Brynn MacDonald lost only one game overall as she came out on top 6-0; 6-1.
The first doubles team of Madison Laughman and Taylor Forry combined to win their match 6-2; 6-1.
Aubrey Shaffer and Jiselle Castano completed the sweep with a pair of 6-0 scores as they shutout Spring Grove.
Additional wins were picked up by the doubles teams of Laiba Khan and Olivia Reik with two wins; Alyssa Harrison and Abby Gerber; Lael Marshall and Amy Rizzo; Katie Harrison and Emily Dellinger; Taylor Forry and Amy Rizzo; Lael Marshall and Abby Gerber in their matches.
Overall, it was a good day for the Lady Bobcats. The team will take on a strong New Oxford team today on the Northeastern courts in what should be a very exciting matchup. Come out and watch the team today.
On Friday the football team played Carlisle and unfortunately lost 6-10.
Tonight both soccer teams play at Spring Grove.
The girls volleyball team also plays tonight, facing Central.
