Yesterday the track team faced Southwestern in their last meet. Both the boys and girls teams unfortunately suffered a loss.

The doubles team of Josh Sanderson and Lance Fries put together an incredible run as they broke through their fourth seed to capture a solid third place and qualify for the district tournament.
After losing a hard fought match against top seed, Dallastown, the Bobcats took on a very good New Oxford team that went on for over two hours.
Josh and Lance lost the first set 7-5 before leveling the match by winning the second set, 6-4.
In the third and final set, the momentum swung back and forth as both teams battled through fatigue and Lance with shoulder pain. With the Cats down 4-3, facing New Oxford's best player who was serving, they climbed out of a 40 love deficit to knot the score at 4-4. Sanderson then won his service to go up 5-4. Josh and Lance then broke the New Oxford teams serve to clinch the win.
It was one of the greatest escapes from an imminent loss that any Bobcat tennis team ever faced! The match became an instant classic as far as many of the fans fortunate enough to witness it!
The team's upcoming match will be next Monday, May 6th at the prestigious team districts. The third seeded Bobcat's opponent will be sixth seeded Suburban in what should be an exciting, competitive contest
Tonight there is a softball game against Southwestern here at 4:15.
